My Tennessee CB "Sleeper"
Buster Skrine (pronounced "Screen"); take him in the Fourth, if he is there, saving #7 choice for K, either Alex Henery or Kai Forbath.

Re: My Tennessee CB "Sleeper"
I would love it if the Steelers conducted their entire draft out of the SEC talent pool because they come to the NFL already schooled in playing very physical football. Too bad Pitt doesn't play in the SEC, if they did, college football would be perfect for me.
Schemes shouldn't be employed to cover weaknesses, but to enhance team strengths.

Steelers bringing in Skrine for an interview. (See reference deep in "Insider" story.)
Just remember where you read about this guy, first!!!

Re: My Tennessee CB "Sleeper"
**** dude is short

So what are his flaws exactly? and at this round I really am probably liking his skill in the nickle or dime not as a full time CB. 4th Round CB's rarely dont project well as starters but we could certaintly use the depth especially with the sissification of the NFL Rules and with the NFL being a copy cat league... more 4-5 wide, spread offense sets.
DB depth is soon going to become as important as LB depth once was

Re: My Tennessee CB "Sleeper"
Speed and more speed; late round CB.
Buster Skrine, CB, UT-Chattanooga
Height: 5-10. Weight: 186.
Projected 40 Time: 4.35.
Combine 40 Time: 4.29.
Pro Day 40 Time: DNP.
Benchx225: 20. Vertical: 37. Arm: 30 1/4.
Projected Round (2011): 4-6.
3/30/11: Mike Mayock on Buster Skrine, who stood on his Combine numbers: "I was blown away by Buster Skrine at the Combine (but) he got beat three times against Auburn in the first quarter. He's a fifth- or a sixth-round prospect."
3/2/11: Buster Skrine had the fastest 40 at the Combine (unofficially), running a 4.29 40. He also had a 37-inch vertical. Later in the drills, Skrine proved that he's not just a track guy. Deion Sanders remarked that Skrine looked raw at all; on the contrary, Skrine performed remarkably well.

Re: My Tennessee CB "Sleeper"
Yeah, you never know what you're going to get with these small-college guys. They could either be diamonds in the rough, like Walter Payton, John Stallworth, Jerry Rice, or Art Shell , or someone who looks like a diamond because they play in the rough, like the aforementioned Colclough. You don't really know what their college stats mean in the context of the NFL.
