Default Butler run make Pitt loss look better or worse?

Wanted to do a little poll to see if Butlers current run makes the Pitt loss look better or worse. Pittsburgh media has once again brought up the question of how good of a coach Jamie Dixon really is. I think he is a great coach for this program specifically, and looking at how good butler is playing right now i'm not going to blame Coach for losing. I know we struggle in the tourney but im not prepared to say that we should be looking to move in a different coaching direction.

I went with Worse. Simply because this Butler team that truly has less talent than other teams is winning. Their coach is finding a way to get the most out of his players and the players are buying into it.

Pitt's practically the complete opposite come the Playoffs. Jamie Dixon is starting to smell a lot like Marty Shottenheimer. Good enough to get the team ranked high and into the playoffs annually but never any further. The talent has been here for Pitt and for the msot part they annually IMO underachieve come the playoffs.

it remains to be seen if butler can compete year after year like pitt can do. I really think coach can make adjustments and improve upon his own style of coaching. I really like what he does with the players and i think its just a matter of time before it pays out for him.

Pitt had better players and the better team than Butler, but for whatever reason seems to be built more for Big East play than for the NCAA Tournament. Maybe Dixon will tweak his philosophy with Khem Birch and Isaiah Rope coming aboard next season. It's hard to argue with Dixon's Big East success, but it's time for some NCAA success to go with it.
Schemes shouldn't be employed to cover weaknesses, but to enhance team strengths.
