Karstens looks like a gunslinger. He walked of the mound looking like a superstar gunslinger, with one arm hanging differently from the other.................not in pain, just how he hangs!

With the loss of Presley, d'Arnaud, Harrison, Tabata, we have lost the true flavor of this team and they are showing some signs with what new guys are left, as we speak.

Poor throw by Fryer, but his quick moves on the pitch out, were the difference!

The vibe has felt a little different this past week. I'm not sure I can quantify it, but there you go.

They have to get some guys back and work in the new guys. Too many bums in there right now. Personally I think Pedro has been decent and I think he is going to continue to improve. The feeling will be back. Consider this as well they have played some serious starting pitching recently. Its been brutal but they are battling.

Depressing way to leave Philly. We wasted a good outing from Karstens and had a chance to walk away 6-7 in our 13 game stretch against contenders. Instead we went 5-8 and fell to 7-9 since the ASB. Hopefully with the upgrades of Lee and Ludwick we can get a spark at home against the Cubs tomorrow night! This home stretch could be huge for our momentum as we head towards the middle of August that sees us play the Giants, Brewers twice, and St. Louis twice.
