Sunday, August 21, 2011
By Ray Fittipaldo, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Pitt coach Jamie Dixon received his second verbal commitment for the 2012 recruiting class today when point guard James Robinson told him he will join the team. Robinson, who plays for DeMatha Catholic in Maryland, is eligible to sign a binding letter of intent in November.
Robinson, who is 6 feet 3, is ranked as the No. 56 player in the 2012 class, according to Rivals.com. He joins center Steve Adams of New Zealand as the other player to give Dixon a verbal commitment.
