Stargell to be honored with postage stamp

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
The U.S. Postal Service will honor the late Pirates slugger Willie Stargell with a postage stamp next year.
The All-Star left fielder and first baseman will be immortalized on a forever stamp as part of the postal service's Major League set.
Also to be honored are Joe DiMaggio, Larry Doby and a player to be named later.
The stamps will be issued in July.

Willie just doesn't get enough credit for his career outside of Pittsburgh, and to get on a stamp might get him more appreciation nationally.
