Yeah, you beat me to it! I was just going to post this! Jerry Meals cursed the Pirates season back on July 27th with that disgraceful call (just go with me on this lol)! Well, maybe he ultimately cursed the Braves as well!

The Rays, the team the Pirates need to model themselves after, are back in the post season. I pray to God that we see the Pirates in a similar situation in 2 or 3 years! What fun that would be!

Congrats to both the Cards and Rays for pulling off the unthinkable! Both were as much as 8 or 9 games out just a couple of weeks ago! Amazing story. I'll be rooting for the Rays pretending they are the Pirates! lol I'll just pretend the year is 2014 or something like that!

I blame Jack Wilson 100% for the Braves choking. Sure he barely played, but at this point I'm convinced he's just cursed. Remember when the 2010 Mariners got Figgins and Cliff Lee? They were the talk of baseball before the season, then they lost 101 games. Fast forward to this August 31, the Braves have a commanding lead in the wild card and decide they need Jack Wilson to push them over the top. Just guess what happened next.

The first thing I thought when I saw that the Braves chokes was KARMA!!!!

And I can't stand the Red Sox or their fans.....so I love the fact that the Beantown boys choked!

The Pirates, they met this years expectations

the Red Sox and Brave....not

none of the three franchises made the playoffs and it's my contention that the Pirates had the best season out of the three.

I get like the Bahhston version of Stan and Guy up here - you ought to hear them ****ing and moaning about this. It was entertaining for a while, I'm pretty sick of it by now though. It's all they talk about. Seems like failure garners discussion and debate here, success is ignored.

I know I'll be rooting for a Diamondbacks/Rays World Series!! It probably won't happen, but as long as the Brewers make a first round exit, I'll be real happy!!!!
