Couldn't agree more. Arians does NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING to compensate for a poor O-line and Ben seems to largely be free of most criticism. They both have been fairly poor this year, especially Arians, but that's every year.

The offense has now scored a grand total of 58 points in 4 games. That's 14 points a game.

Nobody on this team should be excused from any criticism right now.

14 points a game in this NFL is unacceptable. Blame whoever. But something needs to change. We don't operate effectively with the ball and the D now has an evident problem getting the ball back for their offense (1 takeaway in 4 games is pitiful). No one on this team is getting it done. So much for a SB loss leaving a bad taste in their mouths. Looks like Post-Super Bowl Swoon #3 in the Colbert Era.

Still go back to the decision to kick the FG with 4th and 1--- dumb--- we were running all over them at that point.

It was the smart thing to do.What killed them was immediately ****ting the bed subsequently thereafter on D.

Why was it the smart thing to do? That was the one drive where we were imposing our will on the ground--- you are on the road-- go for the lead there... worst case scenario, you are down by 3, and they are buried deep--- The D playing like crap is just the reason you go for the 7 there.. just look at the Texans first drive of the game!

Because we weren't doing **** the entire game. You don't give up the points in that situation and pretty much every coach would do the same.

But that is exactly my point-- we werent doing **** UNTIL THAT DRIVE--- we were ramming the ball down their throats with Moore and Ike-- Given the way the defense was playing, were you confident once the score was 10-10?

And there are probably a bunch of coaches, that given the exact situation, would have gone for it--- especially if they were coaching our D

You can argue the point all you want. It's basic football 101.You never give up the points......especially in a close game and I guaran****tee 95% of NFL coaches would agree.

    Les,

its a debatable point, if you can allow yourself to see the flipside of the coin. (which it doesnt look like you are willing to do) -

And it really doesnt matter what other coaches would have done--- just talking about this game, with these teams--- you want to kick the FG to tie with a Steeler d of the past, I am ok with that--

    Lets agree to disagree-

Huh?Ummm,if I'm not willing to "see the flipside" of the coin, then you aren't either.Kinda the point of the discussion.

I said that with a Steeler d of the past , I might have felt differently- You are just about certain that only 5% of coaches would have coaches, in the same exact game and circumstance, would have tried for the 1st down there.
