Spent the day watching my eyelids, The Science Channel and doing the grocery shopping. The Science channel had competitions of launching anvils, pumpkin hurling w/trebuchets and rocketry! That beats the NFL!

I tend to find a lot of the urbanised Southern accents rather difficult to decipher, poor enunciative skills only add a small complication.

Ironically, I have a hard time with guys like Mike Wallace (plaxico was another) as I do with a lot of Brits (not you in paritcular). where it's very monotone and mumbly sounding. Just with 2 different accents. I recall reading that there are certain parts of England that have a lazier dialect? Is that true?
