Saturday Divisional Games
Just as last week, I'm posting this thread with an immediate re-direct to the NFL Room.....
.... Use this thread for any commentary on the games this Saturday....
Saints at 49ers:
Man, I'm really pulling for the 49ers today.... I like the Saints, but respect what SF has done this year to rebound to this point.....

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
SF can win this game.... The Saints are just an ordinary team away from home and the dome.....

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
I still have the image in my head of the blond Texan cheerleader from last week. All others seem to fail in comparison to me.

Pulling for the Saints hard. I dont want anything Harbaugh anywhere near a Super Bowl.

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
Man, I just can't find a pic as good as that one......

..... I don't like the idea of a "Harbaugh" winning either. This particular Harbaugh dissed my USC Trojans a while back.... But I still like what that team has done this season compared to last.... Just me, I guess....."The Difference Between Adventure And Ordeal Is Attitude" - Jimmy Buffett

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
4 turnovers by the Saints spells "doom" IMO.....
.... SF will not get to, or win the SB.... So our record will remain intact at the end of the day (or even month).... But the Saints are just an "average" team when away from home.... They are still a scoring machine, but it just makes for good ball IMO....
Just cheap entertainment at this point with any game for me......"The Difference Between Adventure And Ordeal Is Attitude" - Jimmy Buffett

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
I might be crazy, but I think the Saints are going to the Super Bowl. Look at it this way. They are playing pretty darn bad right now and they are down 3. I see this game ending up 28 to 23 Saints. The thing with the Saints and Packers is, even on a bad day its awfully hard to outscore them.
I will say this, I love the way the 49ers play defense. This 49ers team reminds me of Cowhers earlier teams. Safe and effective on offense, and tough as nails on defense.

What a horrible time to turn it over. Reminds me of something that would happen to us this year.

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
I would agree.... Except that the Saints are gonna have to go to Green Bay next week if they win today.... The Saints don't play well on the road... Then toss-in potentially really cold/bad weather, and that might be a deal-breaker......
..... Hell, I'm rooting for the Giants over GB tomorrow, but I'll save that commentary for tomorrow's thread....."The Difference Between Adventure And Ordeal Is Attitude" - Jimmy Buffett

... BTW, LH... I'll be bringing the pic back for the Texans/Ravens game tomorrow, as I'll be starting a thread tomorrow just like these other days...

Re: Saturday Divisional Games
Nice job by the Niners D to bail out Smith after the INT. If Brees would have just taken what the defense gave him, the Saints would have ended up with a FG attempt.
I am also pulling for the Giants tomorrow. It wouldnt shock me at all if the G-Men pull the upset.
