    According to Jen, the switch will be on Jan. 21st. I will miss her, as she always did a credible job on the Bucs' beat. I think youse guys are gonna like Singer, though.
    Good links. He's certainly old but with age like his he comes from that school of journalism/writing that you don't see anymore, certainly not from anyone who started writing in the past 20 years or so. He seemed to have more "writer" in him whi9ch should be interesting or is interesting because a "beat" reporter often times is more fo a reporter and re-capper not so much an overly opinionated columnist.

    I think everyone's gonna be pretty happy with his coverage - if the stuff I used to read in the L.A. Her-Ex is any indication - he's fair, and also not afraid to call "bull****" when he sees it, but as the beat writer for MLB, there isn't going to be a lot of negative stuff, just as with Jen.
