[QUOTE] NHL fines Montreal's Subban for 'dangerous trip' of Pens' Kunitz
Saturday, January 21, 2012
By Dave Molinari, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban has been fined $2,500 for what the NHL described as a "dangerous trip" of Penguins winger Chris Kunitz late in the third period of the Penguins' 5-4 shootout victory at Consol Energy Center Friday night.
That is the maximum amount allowed under the NHL's collective bargaining agreement.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
Subban was not penalized on the play.

Re: Subban fined
Nice, it was the definition of intentional unsportsmanlike conduct. On the plus side Kunitz wasn't hurt
