You're taking a big part of Letang's game away when you don't let him pinch. Rough night for him. He got high sticked and mugged on seperate occasions with nothing called. Ended up in the box himself for a ticky tack slash later on. And all night he had to play a style of game he normally doesn't play. He probably just wants to beat the **** out of something right now!

Yeah Letang needs to be joining the rush, carrying the puck deep and getitng involved with the Offense. The Offensive forcheck and style of this team relies on the D jumping in and when you take that away and force the D to play back and defend the neutral zone, we're not as effective. Therrien's teams rel;ied on cycling down low. They'd cycle for an entire shift and not get a shot off, but that was the offense. This team isn't really built on cycling down low Offensively, so using the D is key when you have 2 F's down low working the boards.

It's called having fun... try it. The streak was fun, it was about having fun and playing the superstition card that we were all buying into and playing.... for fun.

Is this coming from the same guy that wanted me to call him during a game a couple of weeks ago to let him know if he could watch, because you said you're "SERIOUSLY superstitious"? Or was that just you messing with me? I took you as serious because you said you weren't kidding about that. Seriously though, I thought all of this was just in good fun. That it was. Any winning streak is fun, ones that last 8 games are an even better time even if I had to remember specific things to do per game day Glad to get a break from that until our next streak starts Playing to the superstitions after coming off a big losing streak made this winning streak fun. Last winning streak of length I really remember was the one in 2008-09 with Ty Conklin. Started something after January 2009
