I don't know. I think shero really likes the 3 deep in centers on this team especially going into the playoffs. What's nice is that there are times when the Top 2 liens of teams cancel each other other and the 3rd and 4th lines are the difference. Our 3rd line is a good line in comparison to what a lot of teams have. I think it was that variable that helped against the Red Wings. Our depth was stronger.

I'm still going to say that the Pens go after a grittier type 3rd/2nd line winger for Malkin's line by the trade deadline this year to replace what they were hoping that Talbot was supposed to provide for Geno's line. Get into the playoffs Fedotenko turns into a good winger and I don't see Shero doing anything for sid's line.

There's a possibility for Defensive depth getting picked up for a bag of pucks like joel Kwiatkowski a couple years ago. Basically a warm body just in case but I don't think they are pleased right now going forward with Skoula

I'm optimistic because I panicked and sounded like a ***** last season when there was actually legit reasons for panic.... and it all turned out alright.

Right now... i'm just gonna stay positive and see how it goes. Personally I think we are just unhealthy to be honest. Earlier this season October and November this team was playing tremendously offensively, defensively, MAF looked awesome, PK looked great, YP still sucked and we had a couple injury issues... but when the team got hit with the plague after that, it's not quite rebounded. I don't think Ray Shero can do anything at the Trade Deadline to fix what ails the Pens. Players need to dig deep, shake that rust and ignore the injuries
