Ok, I know the draft is over and Bryce Harper is now water on the bridge but....

Playing in a game of the Western district finals of the 2010National Junior College Athletic Association World Series, Bryce Harper went 6-for-6 and hit four home runs, a triple, and a double.

Wow. Who does this at any level of baseball???

Yeah....443 BA to go along with 31 HR and 98 RBI? In only 228 AB? That's fairly monstrous.

Yep reminds me of this classic quote.

    • General manager Neal Huntington made a striking pronouncement on the 2010 draft yesterday by telling the PirateFest crowd that Bryce Harper, the Las Vegas catcher dubbed "Baseball's LeBron" by Sports Illustrated last June, is not currently among the Pirates' top 10. They pick second. "He's getting a lot of hype," Huntington said. "We will scout Bryce Harper. But we're not going to select him because somebody thinks he's the best prospect in the history of the game and we think he's the 10th-best."

I'm pretty sure there's only one player from Indy anyone would want.

Bilak...You may have forgotten but that quote was from before Bryce played any ball for Southern Nevada. Neil also was quoted two weeks ago (along with FC) saying they would have drafted Bryce if he was available and that he was #1 on their board.

Nice job cherry picking, dummy. Now go find all of the quotes from the different scouts, anonymous GM's and such that were all saying similar things about Harper... at the same time.

Dont you have something better to do than troll the internet for anything negative to post to spin and twist? .
