Fort Myer's Beach
For the second consecutive year I will be in the Ft. Myers area for the draft. Anyone have any insight on the area? The first round (now on Thursday) will be my first night in town and I should be settled in, in time for the first round.
I'm planning on Hooters now, but if there is a greasy-spoon joint packed with Stiller fans, I'm there!
Any and all input is appreciated!

Re: Fort Myer's Beach
AWESOME!!!! Thanks bro!!! Last year I spent draft "day" on the beach, considering it was a perfect Sat afternoon in SW FLA. But I did catch a couple Pens games at Hooters -never a bad time

I'll look into these joints and if I go, I'll post a review
-Now, do you know how I can lose 20lbs, develop six pack abs, and get tan in 3 weeks? LOL
Thanks again!

Re: Fort Myer's Beach
No problem...

If you check any of these places out, please DO post a review... Those are the kind of threads I want in this forum. Personal observations... I hate just listing the prototypical "master lists" of places that "might" be associated with our team... Unfortunately, the last two I gave you were from just such a list... But the first one really sounds like a no-**** Steeler bar....
Sorry I can't help you out further, but the 3 years that I lived in Florida were over in Daytona, and I was usually too ****-faced to drive over to the west coast unless it was for a Pirate spring training game... LoL!
... As far as the weight, abbs, and tan.... You're talkin' to someone closer to 50 than 40, so none of it would do me any good.... I just buy enough drinks so it doesn't matter...

Re: Fort Myer's Beach
HAAAAA!!!!! As long as I stay tan and drunk, the rest are afterthoughts...right?
For real though, look for personal reviews on this thread...that's if I can talk the old lady into going to a local-yocal Steelers bar in SWFLA bar to watch the draft! I'm going to start my research to "sell" her the idea. She did like Oscar's

Re: Fort Myer's Beach
Never made it to Benchwarmers...stayed in more familiar territory, "Hooters" Ft. Myers. Had three big screens: Pens, Cavs, and Draft!!! I was in heaven.
